A calmer way to compare the news
The internet, thoughtfully arranged.
Minds Feed is a customizable news and ideas reader from Busted Minds. It brings reports about the same event together so readers can see what publishers emphasize, follow the original source trail, and shape a feed around their own interests.
How story comparisons work
Minds Feed discovers public reports and groups items that appear to describe the same event. A comparison can include publisher headlines, publication times, source-specific angles, discussions, and direct links to the original reports. Automated discovery and grouping can make mistakes, so the original publisher remains the authority for its reporting.
Pages intended for search indexing are held to a higher bar: they must include substantive context and reporting from at least two distinct publishers. Single-source and placeholder story pages can still work inside the live feed, but are excluded from the public search index until the comparison is useful on its own.
What Minds Feed adds
- A shared story thread instead of a stream of disconnected headlines.
- Publisher attribution and direct access to every available original report.
- Source-angle labels that make differences in emphasis easier to notice.
- An editable explanation of why a story appeared in a reader's feed.
- Sports and money desks with publisher-reported context and dedicated team, competition, company, market, asset, and institution shelves.
- Time-stamped market-implied estimates on selected economic stories, with 24-hour movement when reliable history is available.
- Controls for topics, sports and finance entities, regions, languages, followed sources, muted topics, and blocked publishers.
Sources and reading
Minds Feed links to public reporting from publishers across the open web. It does not claim ownership of publisher articles. Supported article sources can open in a privacy-focused text reader that removes active scripts, ads, and trackers while preserving the source link. Video and podcast sources open at their publisher.
Publisher headlines and short source material may be displayed for identification and comparison. Readers should consult the original report for the publisher's complete work, updates, and corrections.
Score, result, percentage, symbol, and market context is derived from publisher-provided story metadata and is always labeled as non-live. It is editorial navigation, not wagering, brokerage, portfolio, or investment-advice functionality.
Selected economic comparisons may also show public market data from Kalshi or Polymarket. Minds Feed verifies a reviewed macroeconomic category, requires meaningful activity and a bounded bid-ask spread, uses the midpoint as the implied estimate, and expires each snapshot after six hours. A 24-hour move appears only when usable price history is available. These signals are not facts, forecasts by Busted Minds, reporting sources, recommendation inputs, or investment advice. Minds Feed provides no trading link, account connection, wallet, order, or transaction feature.
Media bias source context
For matched publishers, Minds Feed displays the publisher's current AllSides Media Bias Rating and AllSides confidence level. Ratings with low or initial confidence are identified as such. Publishers that AllSides has not rated, or that do not have an exact match, remain unlabeled instead of receiving an estimated political leaning. These are outlet-level ratings for online written news, not judgments about the factuality, quality, or political position of an individual article. A Center rating does not mean better, neutral, or more accurate.

Recommendations and AI
Feed ranking can use recency, the amount of available coverage, selected interests, regions, languages, follows, and reading signals. Minds Feed shows a recommendation explanation and lets readers adjust or remove those signals. BM AI does not write the feed automatically; it is used only when a signed-in reader explicitly asks a question about a story.
Corrections and contact
Publisher corrections belong to the original source and may take time to flow into a story comparison. If a story is grouped incorrectly, attributed to the wrong publisher, or described inaccurately, contact Busted Minds at support@bustedminds.org with the story URL and the issue. We can correct the Minds Feed record without altering the publisher's work.
